Research excellence
The PrinSus Research Group is headed by Professor Neil R. Foster for the last 15 years.The number of researchers increased rapidly, as did the diversity of projects that were undertaken. The initial focus of research was on fundamental properties of SCFs, utilisation of tailored SCF systems and co-solvent studies, some environmentally related investigations, and applications of SCFs. We have then diversified our research area based on the principle of process intensification and sustainability (PI & S). The concept of PI & S plays an important role in conserving resources, protecting the environment and improving quality of life.
